Technically well shot. That's evident in the long shot around the School bus. If that's not one shot, then you have to admit that the editing of that scene is admirable. I even looked at the scenery before that shot and they had everything set up before the scene to be sure there is continuity. Call this guy impressed.
As for the acting, writing, and everything else...
It's an adaptation of a video game. What more could we expect? Resident Evil killed the zombie genre for me. It was all about stupid CGI effects that didn't work with the story. That's not true about this film. This one works on it's own, especially for those who've never played the game or don't care to compare the movie to the video game.
This was free. It had some great technical filming. The acting was better than some zombie flicks out there. All in all, I'm happy to say I've watched this movie.
