Storyline:
Maru Dheeran is a meek child brought up in an enslaved village coming under the oppressive rule of the blue-eyed monstrous 'Vedalam' group who burden the people with enormous taxes and kill on whim. When his wife is kidnapped for sacrifice by the Vedalam Queen & her commander in-chief, Maru Dheeran takes a journey to their impenetrable fort in order to retrieve her and put an end to the tyranny.

1. This is a PAKKA COMMERCIAL #VIJAY film.. There is a comedy, sentiment, masala, mass and seriousness.. 2. Don't expect a movie like #Bahubali.. We can never compare Puli with Bahubali.. Except CG and the costume, there are no similarities between those movies.. 3. Comedy will be a major thing.. Puli will be More like a Fantasy masala padam.. 4. When we talk about fantasy, its not just graphic birds, giant man or the big tortoise.. There will be more and FIRST true FANTASY in d movie where you never experience it in any of Tamil movies before.. 5. No matter what the movie result will be, but surely Vijay's market will increase more in all states especially will attract Children and family audiences in AP/TG & Hindi.. 6. There will be NO single war scene in the movie.. But the sword fights will be highlight in the movie. Final words – This is a Full and Full Vijay movie.. You can expect all Vijay elements in the movie with a fantasy backdrop.. It will have more #CHANDAMA than 300.. Go with normal expectations, you & your family will definitely be happy smile emoticon
